Requirements: Marketing Manager The Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing and play an integral role in enhancing the company’s marketing efforts. With an emphasis on social media management, this position will act as curator, editor, and committee liaison for the company’s social media functions—from posting content to providing competitor research—while integrating best practices for advertising opportunities.
Responsibilities: Working with the Director of Sales & Marketing to create and execute new marketing campaigns to drive and deliver qualified leads, expand brand awareness and constructing a strategy on how best to sell the “products” and generate the highest revenues. Assisting Director of Marketing in developing, executing and managing marketing strategies, goals and objectives. Assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing with the implementation of the company’s marketing strategy. Collaborating with other departments to create personalized campaigns including; personalized emails, website content, direct mail, LinkedIn connections and more. Preparing and submitting nominations for industry awards programs (approx. 10-15 applications per year).
Responsible for the creation of company social media, web, video, print, advertising, sales and collateral. Ensuring brand consistency internally and through all external marketing channels. Performing research on current trends and customer preferences; researching marketing and industry trends. Displaying in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+Local, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios. Developing brand awareness and generates in-bound traffic by developing and designing a strong content strategy. Monitoring SEO and web traffic metrics. Developing and managing social content calendars to prompt engagement and activate consumers through social media outlets. Communicating with followers, responding to queries in a timely manner and monitoring customer reviews. Managing email campaigns for member benefits: drafting messages, creating schedules, tracking results, and optimizing member engagement. Analyzing tactics of digital advertising campaigns, including PPC, re-marketing, social media, and online display advertising for all areas of the society. Overseeing contracted professionals (agency, photographer, etc., including contracting, scheduling, and onsite direction). Coordinating the production and use of outreach materials, including promotional items, advertisement of events, registration, agenda and logistics, preparation of handouts, site setup, and coordination of other follow-up activities.
Developing close alignment with sales, F&B, Event Planning and other key departments within the organization to plan, create content, execute campaigns. Protecting, maintaining, and enriching the integrity of the marketing database. Establish a process to conduct routine cleansing of data, maintain health of email lists. Generating image/video marketing content. Developing branded materials and shepherd projects through inception, design, edits, approvals, and production– flyers, brochures, PowerPoint Presentations, etc. Coordinating production, printing, mailing and distribution of all print and digital marketing materials. Creating materials including posters, fliers, programs, invitations, etc. to support various special events. Performing in-depth editing of marketing and proposal content for clarity, technical accuracy, continuity, readability, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and spelling Identifying opportunities to update, simplify, automate, and enhance existing processes and tools to better meet the needs of the organization.
