At the IACC-Americas 30th Annual Conference
March 23-25, 2011

Leesburg, Virginia USA
Business IS getting better and meetings are on the upswing. Now is the time to start your engines and kick in the afterburners!
For the many busy or budget-conscious conferees, you'll again get the same cutting-edge industry information in a shorter time at less expense. And for conferees who would like to tack a day or two at the beginning or end of the conference for leisure, DC and the Virginia wine country are great places. Spend extra time in the area or be home for the weekend!
Here's a summary of the schedule, which again trims one night and a half day over the 2009 Annual Conference:
Monday – Three-day pre-conference study tour of Virginia/DC conference centers
Tuesday – One-day pre-conference study tour of Virginia/DC conference centers
Wednesday -- Pre-conference workshops, newcomers reception and opening general session “A Customer Panel.”
Thursday -- General session with “Afterburners” keynote, workshop blocks, Copper Skillet luncheon (with menu items contributed by all the competing chefs), President's Reception and Annual Banquet.
Friday -- Workshop block, general session & townhall with a panel of meeting-technology leaders, lunch, departure.

Corporate Social Responsibility

This year's IACC CSR project is the local
Habitat for Humanity chapter.
While at the conference, you will be able to purchase raffle tickets to enter into a drawing to win an enviromental friendly, Linhai Electric 500 scooter valued at US $1765 like the one pictured below. (And the one ridden in the video below.) All proceeds from the raffle will go Loudoun Habitat for Humanity. Buy your tickets at the registration desk at the conference.
Dress Protocol
Suitable attire for all sessions and events is "Business Casual," except for the President's Reception and Annual Banquet on Saturday evening, when the dress is "Business Wear."
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
IACC does not pre-arrange Continuing Education Units (CEUs) with degree-granting institutions or certification programs. Yet, some past attendees have successfully obtained credit for IACC courses. You should check directly with your school or source of certification to determine whether they will consider the Annual Conference as part of their requirements and, if so, what materials you must submit to secure such credit.
